Discovery Center
Located at 701 NE Sanchez Ave, Ocala, FL 34470. in the third floor of the Med-Dent Building on the School of Medicine’s campus, the Discovery Center serves as the home of hands-on student learning and faculty research. It also serves as a major migratory stopover location for more than 200 species of birds. It is also the premier destination for birders in the Philadelphia region.
The Discovery Center has a variety of exhibits that are designed to teach science to kids. It offers hands-on activities and workshops for children of all ages. The Museum’s exhibits are designed using Universal Design principles, making them accessible to children of all abilities.

In addition to its educational programs, the Discovery Center offers free tours of the building and offers group reservations. It also offers tours of the surrounding parks. It is located in the same complex as the Burpee National History Museum, so admission is discounted.
The Discovery Center also provides a unique partnership with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). The partnership includes the National Park Service, Southern California Edison, Barstow Unified School District, and the Desert Institute. This is a unique collaboration that brings research and education to the public through environment-based education programs.
The Discovery Center also offers educational workshops and events for adults. These programs are designed to challenge adults and challenge children to think about the world around them. Some of these events include Sports Day, Harry Potter Night, and Pokemon Day.
The Discovery Center also provides funding for new exhibits and staff training. The facility is clean, inviting, and a great place for kids to explore. There are a variety of interactive exhibits, including the Bubble Play exhibit, which features a bubble and smoke table. There is also a space for babies under 18 months that includes a soft mat to climb on. The center also has a Zeiss Axiovert 200 microscope.
The Discovery Center’s staff strives to provide an environment conducive to children’s emotional and physical development. They work to create an environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, self-esteem, and play.
The Discovery Center is open year-round, and there is also a large outdoor playground. The museum has more than 200 exhibits, and offers interactive educational workshops. Throughout the year, the center offers special events, such as the annual Halloween Party. These events are usually included in the admission fee. The Center is also home to a variety of traveling exhibits. Some of the exhibits are STEAM related, such as Clifford the Big Red Dog, Japanese culture, and Japanese pottery. It also has a community gallery and four acres of open lawns. It also hosts summer camps, extended play programs, and after school programs.
