This inland sea is one of the largest natural harbors on the east coast of the US. It is also home to some of the most productive ecosystems on earth. The water is extremely salty, making it one of the richest ecosystems on earth. The ecosystem here is a critical part of the ecosystem, and understanding how to protect it is vital in light of climate change and sea-level rise. It is important to protect the ecosystem and its inhabitants.

Another family-friendly activity at the Port Royal Aquarium is a free aquarium. It features a variety of fish and other aquatic creatures, including sharks and turtles. Though the aquarium is small, it is jam-packed with exhibits. Kids can enjoy the coloring area and even go on a fishing charter boat. Afterwards, they can enjoy a movie at the Port Royal Maritime Center, which is a fraction of the price of a theater.
